I am thrilled to announce that Randall Blackford will become our Executive Director, as well as serve on the Board of New Zealand Middle East Business Council.
Randall lived for nearly a decade in Dubai, before moving to New Zealand during the pandemic. He worked for Yum! Brands (Kentucky Fried Chicken, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell) during this time, and his last role there was as Managing Director of Pizza Hut, Middle East and Africa, where he oversaw 1,000 stores over 25 countries.
He has travelled extensively throughout the region, and really enjoyed learning about each country. He has also lived and worked in Japan, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Randall also serves on the board of the New Zealand Culinary Arts Academy Trust, is President of the Stanford University Alumni Club New Zealand, and works extensively with Business Mentors New Zealand.
He is keen to learn about all of our aspirations for the NZMEBC, and plans to reach out to each member.
